Fevzi Karakoç Biography
1947 He was born in Çankırı.
1968-72 He has studied at State Collage of Applied Fine Arts.
(aka. Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts since 1982)
1974 After two years of free work, he became an assistant at State Collage of Applied Fine Arts.
1979 He attended International Summer Academy of Fine Arts, Salzburg.
1983 He was given Proficiency in Art, in Unique Lithography discipline.
1986 He became an Associate Professor.
1993 He became a Professor.
He has worked at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts until January of 2002. He currently works at Yeditepe University Faculty of Fine Arts since that date.

1981 State Painting and Sculpture Exhibition Award in Unique Lithography discipline.

Fevzi Karakoç has been creating art since 1968. Without falling into a uniformity, he constantly produces, always looking for the new. Fevzi Karakoç re-searches the language and form of painting, with not only logic, but also a synthesis of emotion and the courage to transcend the strict rules of art.
